Giulia got her BSc in Neuroscience with Honours from the University of Edinburgh. Her thesis project was in Richard Morris’s lab where she looked at context-specific memory in the rat hippocampus and prefrontal cortex.

She completed her MSc in Neuroscience at the end of 2021 and joined the Neural Computation Lab to carry out a project on dendritic events and somatic correlates of dendritic calcium spikes in pyramidal neurons. At the moment she is working on this project as a Research Assistant.

Besides neuroscience she likes reading, writing, music, DIY projects and going for walks 🙂
