Dustin is a PhD student (2017 – current) who studies dendritic integration and functional interactions between cortical areas using combinations of two-photon holographic optogenetics and two-photon functional imaging.

Before joining the lab, he worked in biochemistry and molecular neuroscience – most recently on single-cell RNA-sequencing.

Outside of the lab he enjoys long-distance running, everything that involves mountains (hiking, climbing, mountain biking), and gardening. He also secretly wants to open a bakery.
